About the Laboratory
Experience-based development in Budapest, since 2013.
Different ways to ask
Interview Laboratory’s public approach brings together the perspectives of a detective, reporter and priest. It explores how people question, listen and make sense of what they hear.
Our fields include interview technique, recruitment and selection, questioning, diagnostics, training and coaching. The experience of a conversation is the material from which learning begins.
Practice, then reflect
Participants examine a situation, try a question and discuss the response it invites. The debrief connects what happened with what the interviewer wanted to understand.
The purpose is a more deliberate practice, not a set of lines to memorise. Better questions grow from attention to the person, the context and the decision.
